One Cold December Night...

The story starts in December of 2022 when Eddie Charding and Marcus Lovegood would write 'Teddy Picker'. The song was pitched to be included on the bands new album 'Holding Hearts', although originally unpopular with the band Charding and Lovegood insisted. Several takes and mixes later and the song was unanimously agreed to be added to 'Holding Hearts' track list, eventually moving itself up to be the single for the album. Apon release in April of 2023 it was an instant hit, debuting at no.3 in the UK singles chart, before climbing to no.2 the following week, a position it would hold for the next 4 weeks. The 'Teddy Picker' music video was released on YouTube on 5/5/23 and amassed 1 million views in 2 days. The film was made to reflect the themes of the song, with a heavy urban setting filmed in the bands homeland of Plymouth and the 'rival gang' working as a metaphor for the struggles of the music industry, with the band eventually deciding to ignore the warnings presented to them and continue to pursue their passion blissfully unaware of risk.
